No. Zhang too strong and despite a few KOs against bad opposition, Wilder actually takes a while to wear people down. His title wins lasted an average of 8 rounds. And unlike all of Wilders wins, Zhang can take a shot. Highly highly unlikely this is over in 1.

People don't get that Wilder fought human punchbag his whole career. The guys whe fought were out of shape and or really bad skills wise. When he fights guys in decent shape with skills, he gets exposed. Zhang has decent skills. The only issue is his stamina. He can't fight well past 6 rounds.

I remember Kugan interviewing Wilder on the back stoop of a gym in Alabama 10-15 years ago. First time I heard him speak in any depth. Worth finding and watching as it gives you a real insight into the guy not the character

Casual comments saying Wilder just needs to be super aggressive again. Boxing is more complicated than that. Wilders bad opponents let him take his time and be aggressive. His good opponents who he lost to did not. ½ the comments are brain dead and clearly have never watched Zhang box. Hes Wilders 3rd most dangerous opponent ever by a mile. Zhang takes a shot well, decent counter punches, and has big power. Wind milling forward almost guarantees Wilder gets KO'd early. Zhang cannot fight well past 6 rounds. He has questionable stamina. Wilders best chance is to tire him out, move Zhang around, don't get close, then turn up the heat in a smart way from Round 7.

@@BB49. Yeah depending on genetics they can be vey difficult i agree. Wilder does not need to waste time trying to add weight to his legs. They are very strong and wiry which serve him well. Wilder is constantly around world professionals if there was any problem or anything detrimental with his legs then they would instantly pay more attention to it. Some people just have no clue - although they like to pretend they do

Has wilder and his misses gone separate ways ? In the past she would always be by his side, and it’s seems like she isn’t. Perhaps that’s the personal stuff he’s been going thru. If so, maybe that’s the reason it seems he has lost some of his fire. Depression can happen to anyone, and I get the sense that he is going thru something.
