In This Video, I will be giving my honest review of the anime High School DXD Review, and ranking the characters on a tier list! This is my 10,000 Subscriber Speicals. My content is satire in nature and while it may sound like I disliked the anime it's mostly bad jokes. I will be talking about what makes it definitely an anime... by insulting everything about it. Season 1 of this anime was released on January 6, 2012. There are currently only four seasons and this anime with another on the way as well as some OVA'S. There is a manga that you can read, so I recommend reading it even though I have no idea what happens. This video contains light spoilers, so be aware if you plan on watching the anime or reading the manga. If you do happen to read this much by some miracle, I am always open to suggestions, whether new content or problems with the videos. This anime is available in dub. Highschool Dxd is one of those ultra rare harem ecchi animes with an actual plot and story to tell. While there is fanservice, the development of the characters, each of their tragic backstories and the world building is very good. As for Issei, every man agrees, Issei is the greatest gigachad of all time, a living legend and an inspiration for all men of all ages

First, profile pic checks out. (best fucking rage scene, by far) Second, I agree! The show's infamous for having *heavy* fan service, but such fan service genuinely provides actual plot, due to Issei's horniness driving his actions! Not to mention, the world building is absolutely *fantastic!* Just seeing a the world's mythologies go into this world that started out as just, "angels vs fallen angels vs devils" is an awesome inclusion to see. Also, the utilization of chess for the power scaling of devils. That's some grade A shit right there for power systems! Highschool DxD honestly was one of the animes that defined my general sphere of genres I like, and I'm honestly okay with it. It shows that you can be a degenerate while simultaneously providing a solid story with amazing world building.

You should definitely check out the novels. The anime butchered the volumes and cut off a lot of content, and the season 5 is going to adapt the peak of DxD storytelling volumes which are 11 and 12

The series' author actually wrote an entire volume of additional story just to link the discrepancies between anime and the LNs back into a cohesive sequence of events. The anime cut out an "unimportant detail" from Loki's fight, completely ignoring that it was this "detail" that sparked two thirds of the whole story's plot.

My only problem with it is Issei "Pres! Pres! Pres!" Gimmick. It made no sense cause: 1. He has called Rias by name multiple times in prior seasons. 2. It would have made more sense in season 1 and 2 3. He calls the other girls by name 4. It ruined the most beautiful moment they could have had and soldifiy their relationship. & 5. It made Issei's character slightly retarded The Raynare trauma and Rias entering final year of school ARE NOT solid reasons or excuses for that.

HsDxD has long been my absolute favorite ~ LN series; ANIME series (even if they dropped the ball 2/3 of the way thru season 3> which got the animation company dumped < the new animators corrected this issue by redoing the final arc of season3 in one extended prequel episode that got released 2 weeks before season 4 premiered; allowing us to get used to our fav. characters new cleaner look) as for the manga I've not read much of it but it didn't start when the LN began picking up speed, nor when the news broke that it was to be adapted into an anime series, no it was finally given the greenlight for a manga adaptation nearly 5yrs after the LN debuted which I found ironic that it coincided with season 3 which after airing we had to wait nearly 3 years for season 4 & when seasons 5 & 6 finally come out & the first episode of season 5 will likely debut around fall of 2023 making it 5yrs between season 4 & 5 but nevertheless you know; I know damn everyone knows that even people just remotely interested in anime even just slightly we tune in for HsDxD's season 5's debut just to see what all the hype was about!!! All I'm really hoping for is that after season 5 ends is that the 2 OAV's that have been promised is a possibility of an actual proper Highschool DxD anime movie covering some of the sidestory events or even something new but aligns with Ishibumi intentions even more would love to see him script the story for a new movie kinda like how he was behind the direction of the season 2 & 3 extra episodes ...anywho this is getting a bit long sooooooL8rsK8rs 'til next time🤘❤‍🔥💥😈

the craziest thing about DxD that i've always loved and hated is its got one of the most interesting worlds I've seen in an anime and does absolutely NOTHING with it. A dying fighting centered species with 72 pillar clans, all with unique fighting abilities that enable them to actually have a place in high society that has a reason behind it instead of "oh i was born rich" , that is on the brink of extinction and has to resort to breeding/consorting/drawing with an objectively inferior outsider species, all while the "pure" dying out nobles reject the notion that it is a necessary step to save their race? GIMME MORE!!! There are so many ways you could take this story, with the various political factions that would inevitably appear and the massive fights between "figureheads" that would take place to prove either ideology correct. And that's completely ignoring the aspect that the angels and fallen angels add into the story, 2 OTHER races, also on the brink of extinction, one of which literally has no way to reproduce and extend their species, so they are quite literally a dying breed at the beginning of the story. And even then, THATS ignoring the fact that they aren't the only supernatural race out there, there's also yokai, native to the region of Earth the devils have claimed for themselves, AND whole ass other pantheons with all the supernatural races that come with them! and don't get me wrong, there's this kind of stuff in High School DxD, but its all mostly throwaway plot lines that aren't super serious to advance the harem and introduce new women. I swear, if DxD changed literally nothing to it's world and only took itself more seriously, it would be one of the best fantasy manga/anime out there
