Hi Luna, Absolutely loved your reaction and breakdown of The Penguin's first episode! Colin Farrell’s portrayal seems incredible once again, and it’s exciting to see the darker side of Gotham explored through his character. I appreciate how you highlighted the blend of gritty realism and comic book elements in the show. The DCU feels fresh with this addition, and your insights really add to the excitement. Can’t wait to see more of your reviews as the series unfolds! take care for now...

Agreed! Great first episode! I love how grounded the series feels-no Batman, but plenty of street-level action, and mob boss manoeuvres. I'm excited for what's to come, and it's definitely off to a strong start!

I won't lie I prefer DC over Marvel and it has nothing to do with the movies. In fact I'm not a fan of superhero movies if I can be honest. I think the movies are the worst part of Marvel and DC. I prefer DC over Marvel because of the DCAU it was a beautifully written masterpiece. Kevin Conroy will always be my Batman. The only superhero movies I like are Spider-Man 2002, Spider-Man 2, Superman: The Movie, The Batman, and Logan. I did like The Dark Knight but Bale's Batman voice ruins it for me. I still love the movie but I can't take Bale seriously as Batman. I love his Bruce Wayne though he's fantastic as Bruce Wayne.

Hey thanks for your comment! I completely agree. The Dark Knight is an incredible movie, though Bale's voice can be a bit distracting at times. Michael Keaton is my favourite Batman too, but *The Dark Knight* still tops the list as my favourite Batman movie. And I’ve always wondered the same thing about the DCAU! They consistently deliver amazing content, while the live-action side tends to be so hit or miss. 😊

@@Lunarhodesavengers That scene with Batman and Ace was beautifully written. I wish we could get something like that in the movies.
