Penguin is thinking 3 steps ahead. He did not kill Vic because he just wanted to. He knew Vic would be loyal always, he did him a favor.

More like he knew Vic would become a threat. People actually liked Vic and he knew more about Oz than anyone. He knew he was gonna kill Vic from the first episode and that’s why he even brought him to his Moms. And his demeanor never wavered. He just needed Vic to make his job of taking over Gotham from the falconers and Maronite’s easier. The first scene shows us how calculated he was the entire time. He immediately put the black mail files in his coat to conceal them. When Alberto confronted him he immediately gave up the jewels. Penguins motives were always to have all the power and information is power. A lot 0f people think money is power and that is what makes Oz different than the rest of the gangsters. Like carmine Oz knew control comes threw blackmail not simply paying everyone. He knows this well because even though he pays his prostitute she still controls their relationship with the knowledge she has about him. The only person the penguin does favors for is himself.

None of this show is actually orginal. If you read the Bible you know exactly where a lot of these stories come from… Oz is a modern retelling of Cain and able. They do what Disney always does. Takes the Father figure out of the way or makes them hated. . Sofia dad sends her to Arkham and oz’s dad is non existent. All praise Ito our Heavenly Father for eyes to see and ears to hear Repent seek the Way Truth and Life

Considering he killed 2 brothers, by accident, and just realised how lovely it was with only him n his mother, so chose to keep quiet. N why the Disney rant? They have plagiarized alot of cultures stories and twisted the original story to suit themselves. Even if it was a copied plagiarized etc it's bloody great!!! Life too short. Enjoy
