The Mysterious Stranger In case you're actually serious, may I suggest picking up game development? It's really all I do anymore besides play the occasional game. If you're looking for something along the lines of "purpose", I think it will benefit you greatly to take a look at it. I would also recommend C#, WPF, and OpenTK as your eventual frameworks. I've been making a game engine for about 4 years now, and it never gets old. When I wrote all of this, there was next to nothing on the internet, and really no one was around to help me out, so I basically had to learn how to do model loading, database design, entity frameworks, item management systems, etc, all by myself. The model loader itself was the hardest part in my opinion. But like I said, I will just flat out give you whatever source code that i've written that you're currently having trouble with. Halo Reach is my favorite halo I remember playing it in 6th grade nearly 7 years ago and fell in love. I'd play it alone for hours everyday making forge world maps. I made a huge bridge spanning from one end of the map to the other and when my friend came over we'd play it.

The fluid movement and non-clunky gameplay is something i like. I find myself doing a lot better in halo5 multiplayer because it all just feel natural to me while i was more aware of it in the older games (and as you all know, the best systems like UI, movement, hud etc, are the ones you dont notice). Now dont get me wrong, 343 buttfu**ed the story in halo5 like EA buttfu**ed Viceral Entertainment and many other companies, i feel i am qualified to say that as someone who has hundreds of hours on halo1, halo2, halo4 and thousands of hours on 3 and reach. But as dissapointed as i am at the story, something you cant ignore in a halo game likes its the yearly shitty cod release, i can definetly see myself spending as much time in 5 as i did reach, and ive played that game from release and still coming back to this day. Why? Well because the objectivly superior improvements in 5 over the older games is newer tech when it comes to graphics, not cutting as much corners as the older games to fit in the limits of the Xbox 360 for example, and most importantly for me atleast, those smooth silky movements that combined with thruster packs and more faster pace plus the high TTK that halo is known for, creates gameplay i really enjoy. Now if i, someone who always advices people who get a PC that these days, costs only 100bucks more for superior specs, still bought a XboxOne to play halo5, despite me hating sony and microsoft holding games hostage (aka exclusives) just so people will buy their systems. And yet for halo and bloodborne i got ps4 and Xbox....that just explains that halo is still not the spawn of satan and has redeeming qualities.

There’s no better feeling then driving a revenant/ghost and seeing someone who obviously has armor lock(if they aren’t even trying to dodge, just standing still in an open field, sometimes not even shooting at you, just watching and waiting), gunning the thruster just a little bit, watching them turtle while you swerve past and shooting them to death with the guns after their armor lock runs out. Fun times.

The ranking is a terrible judgement of skill. You’d get into the lobby and be intimidated by all these high ranking players on the other team and then absolutely stomp them because they grinded for credits and didn’t actually know much about how to play. It wasn’t the same as running into a 50 on the old trueskill ranking, that’s for sure

Halo Reach was my favorite. I loved the art style, campaign, customization. Everything was so good. I liked the badass squad of Spartans and that whole dynamic.

I've come across a few hacked TF2 matches on Xbox 360 Orange Box, and it was pretty fun. The maps were edited, moon jump was enabled, and the hacker made the game a bit better.
