Your comments about topku are correct. The mirror and beerus are complex match ups and need extensive knowledge and testing. I didn’t test enough and could only win against blue decks and got bodied by red during regionals.

I’m not sure if Bandai messes with choice restrictions but choice restricting kefla and topku (you can chose to include 1 of the above in your list) would do well for topku without killing it off we still have other ways to make topku good but it’s nowhere near as strong

In my opinion, I think hitting roshi hurts red too much as a whole. Not every red archetype is so OP it needs to lose roshi. The complaint is topku himself, not red as a whole. None of these other cards, including Ribrianne and Kefla, are as OP if you're paying full energy. It's because of the leaders interaction. The only logical answer is to errata the leader. His awaken ability is just too cheap. Increase his ability's energy cost and/or discards required to activate.

correct. it they ban roshi the destroy starterku and U7 that are T2 now. beerus probably will survive? maybe as tier 2/3. Increase his ability's energy cost and/or discards for topku will be perfect solution

I’m with you. Hitting Roshi would kinda kill red as a whole. If topku is the only red deck that’s a problem, stick to hitting that. The argument of a 1cost self awakened being able to easily take 1-2 life can be said about every colors 1 cost self awakens. If topku wasn’t a problem than nobody would have roshi on their radars even. No one complained last set
