As someone that has both a fp peq and ngal, I agree 100%. The peq is great outside. cqb not so much. the ngal is great both inside and outside.

The FP Peq15’s illuminator definitely isn’t the greatest for cqb. But Villain Weapon System makes some accessories that assist with it and they work pretty well. I have their older gen diffusor which has worked nice. They also have a newer one called ALIS which is an aftermarket pattern generator over the IR laser. Which when running the IR laser, it has a 1mm hole to partially allow the laser pass-through, and the rest hits the diffusor creating additional spill. Not a perfect world, but a decent accessory to work with what people have.
