A name I thought of for this character is honestly boxer. As you train you body and build up, you hit harder to. It's not a perfect match, but it works well enough.

My observation for knockback and alien eyes is that their knockback depends on their orientation, so they'll throw things 'away' from whatever their way their facing... And since they rotate it seems very random.

My theory about the "knock towards you" is that those enemies tend to accelerate at you whenever they are attacked and I think the knock back calculation together with the acceleration gets a funny effect

Pretty sure the knockback is just dependent on the orientation of the projectile. Most projectiles face directly away, but alien eyes spin rapidly as they travel.

The "burning takes 10% less long to activate" modifier... Would it be possible to do that, but with Alien Eyes? Obviously it doesnt work as its own item because that's way too specific, but as part of an Infinite perk alongside a starting Eyes...

Negative perk idea: Lucky? Lvl 1: No common rarity weapons can show up in the shop Lvl 2: No common rarity items can show up I'm the shop Lvl 3: No common rarity weapons and items can show up in the shop No common weapons is an inconvenience in the beginning because of the high prices, but can turn beneficial at the late game No common items can lock out a lot of essential stat items for your build, paired with the high cost inconvenience

This also would have been a good run for the ghost scepter for the free damage scaling; or even Padding since the game was trying to force you to take Crown anyway

FYI anvil bypasses the weapon restriction. Had a wildling char today that I had anvil on and had two lego weapons by end of run

While I can't be certain on this as I've not done many danger 4/5 runs, I have felt that in the few enounters I have had with Rhino, that Rhino actually felt easier to fight when up close and personal. When I did so it felt like it required less movement to dodge between its first pairs of projectiles whenever it dashed. Another point I noticed is that Rhino has a short red animation it does just before dashing which if you are able to notice it quickly enough, can allow you a chance to sidestep it into the safe spot between those first few projectiles. I also felt that by fighting at a distance, it felt more difficult since it gives the projectiles more chances to add to the already existing enemies/projectiles on screen, thus making it even harder to evade damage. Hopefully my thoughts on this helps in some way or another, or at the very least can provide another point of view to consider in regards to the elite.

cactus club would've been more fun, sure you did play it recently but cactus club would've added pure damage% getting you up to 200% or even 300% damage.

i wonder if itd be cool to have a like 'replace ranged damage bonuses with melee bonuses then melee bonuses with engineering bonuses then engineering with elemental and elemental with ranged' so you get like the engineering book and you get +1 elemental damage or muscly dude gives +3 engineering if thatd even be possible
