My idea of a perfect aquarium is one that is best suited for the species of fish.Nature isn’t perfect. Beautiful fish too👍🏾✌🏾

Howdy Braquaman! I like aquariums that lean more to the natural habitat vs tanks with glittery castles and bubbling treasure chests... lol. Love how soothing and relaxing it is to watch them swim around. Thanks for sharing 🤠

This tank you have here is probably pretty close to my perfect tank. I love a lot of these big mean cichlids and seeing them in tanks with even a little greenery is awesome

Great video. I also have bichirs, and as they start to grow, just be prepared for some of your fish to come up missing overnight. I thought some of my fish were too big to get eaten and was definitely in for a surprise.

My idea of a perfect aquarium is any where I can see that the fish are enjoying their surroundings and thriving. My preference is fully planted but that doesn't mean I think they are the best, so long as they are as natural as possible and the fish are happy that is ok in my book.

A lot of killers in that tank, I'm excited to see the future of this aquarium.

You got some really interesting fish👍I think 1 Java fern & 1 Java sword would be a good addition to that big tank. It's good that it's not packed with plants because I don't think your fish would prefer that.

Oh yes! Nothing like an 8am uncommon aquatics video! I know you mentioned you had another channel, whats the name of it?

I like managing an ecosystem. Closest thing I'll get to comfortably playing God.

I think my "perfect tank" would be one that has a lot of colorful peaceful fish that is well planted and I don't have to worry about them out growing their tank. With that said, I LOVE gold fish but I only have a 37 gallon hex tank and I have been told I can't even put three baby fancy ones in it and let them grow up. If I could do goldfish it would not be planted and would just have some interesting hardscape (plain rounded stones and such) so the beauty of the fish could be focused on. I have not set this tank up for over a year because I cannot figure out what I want to put in it. Makes me sad looking at a dry, empty tank everyday. 😢

I have a Koi/goldfish tank and I have two heavily planted community tanks. I like them all, but this is my favorite right now

@uncommonaquatics I will have to check out more of your videos to see if I can find them. I like this tank, but I have nowhere to move them as they outgrow them. Always liked Cichlids but have only done African. Those are all South American, right? Do they seem to form attachments to you like the Africans? I live there the water is extremely hard (Florida)...if I wanted to try them, what would I have to add to soften it? (In the past I had read they needed soft water YEARS ago so I never considered them)

Yes. It does. I’m concerned about it and have been considering moving it to a quarantine tank.
