This is my favorite belt but the build quality is definitely a notch below Inzer (which I sold after getting this one). The outer layer started peeling near the tapered end after a month of use. Fortunately, the affected area was only an inch long, so it was easily fixable with a dab of leather glue. The distance between holes being at smaller increments is a huge QOL increase and hopefully other brands will follow suit.

I got my custom belt from Pioneer for my birthday last year as my present to myself. The thickness was spot on, but the height ended up being slightly shorter than the competition max height I ordered. That said it's worn really well other than the black finish on the buckle being worn away by the tab a bit. I'd recommend them to anyone honestly, the only caveat I'd say is to be very explicit with the height/thickness dimensions. Other than that they will humor just about any request, as I was pretty anal about small details and they were great the whole way through.

Hey man, I’ve been training for a few years now and when executing the three main lifts I’ve been very conscientious of my form, constantly tweaking it and making it better. I have a friend who lifts balls to the wall basically and in the deadlift rips the bar off the ground but loses all tightness and rounds extremely so before locking out, it looks painful. However he is constantly making pr’s v fast...should I adopt his style? As I’m in a bit of a plateau.
