Wow - that blue water was sensational. Another fantastic location. The whale watching from the drone was better than the tinnie for us!

Haha glad you loved it Benny, we could've got heaps more but there are big fines for droning whales 🐋. So you have to be careful.

Great clip, went in there for 7 days in 2017 and came out 27 days later 🤠, we stayed at South Lefroy. Lost my drone to a Eagle while filming the old light house 😢. Magic spot

All the way out and the girls caught the biggest fish off the beach :) Queenie on a BBQ with some butter and lemon pepper would be awesome...Poor Rusty, our dogs used to love going out in the boat. I am surprised the fishing wasn't better but a portable fish finder is really helpful if you don't know the area well. There are some really top spots to fish in the Gulf, we think it is a better place to fish than on the west side of the cape.
@Sparkysontheloose5 жыл бұрын
Haha yeah the girls really showed us up. Yeah Rusty has a strange personality but that's why we love her. We were at the end of the season so I'm guessing that it's all fished out and we didn't have to long to explore as we were fighting the weather. We had a sonar on board (Deeper) and found heaps of structure but I think we had to go out to deeper water.

I am watching a dvd. Get sea water and cook your new potatoes. Then in the end put them in a fry pan. The salt will come out and crisp up the outside of the potatoes.

you weren't catching anything coz u were fishing in sand patches...
@Sparkysontheloose5 жыл бұрын
Haha, the drone footage you're referring to is us just boating back in to camp. We were fishing on the calm side of the main reef, amongst the bombies and in 30m of water. We had some good hits but it wasn't constant and our gear is not designed for boat fishing so that was a struggle.
