It's something that I started to think about awhile back, but I didn't explore it. I figured it was possible to keep bisecting angles using floors and the reverse wire glitch right after it was discovered, but when I asked Beeble during a steam, he said it was more work than the biodome method. So I didn't explore it further. Now I think he misunderstood because I wasn't clear enough, and I wish I had worked it out. I haven't been building much because of all the snapping issues, though, and I've barely had time to play for months.

One suggestion for circle tutorials: It would be helpful to show the radius at which the floor panel outside edges merge cleanly depending on the number of sides of the circle. Giving an example of each would make it easier for viewers to plan ahead and decide how many sides they need to make a circle of a desired size.
@Beeblebum2 жыл бұрын
Noted. Tbh, I am trying to keep my tutorials short and to the point. People lose interest pretty quickly and video retention is terrible. I am also not a big fan of just spoon-feeding every solution for every problem, because that just stops players to look for solutions and improve on themselves. There are tricks to get each shape to line up perfectly, and I might just make a guide for that.
@mechatortoise2 жыл бұрын
@@Beeblebum If you want to make a guide on adjusting parts specific distances, that would be great. I was just imagining putting a quick line in saying "A circle with __ sides will be __ floor panels across." I think that would have been helpful for someone new to glitch building following the tutorial to build a circular floor for the first time. Then they could expand from that knowledge later on.

The larger you make it the more like a circle it will look. Technically none of these shapes are real circles, simply shapes with many, many tiny little edges.
@Beeblebum2 жыл бұрын
an 8 sided circle is actually an octagon.. hehe.. If you are having issues with the alignment of the floors, and the corners do not properly join, you can move the floors outwards by using Pavers, or half floors, depending on the size of the shape.

1st off thanks for the tutorial! I'm having a problem keeping outside elements (150° storms and rain) out with the 32 sided base. I'm guessing it's because none of the walls are actually connected?
@Beeblebum Жыл бұрын
Weather is a finicky thing in NMS... It has nothing to do with the size, but the height of your base... If the room is larger than 2-3 walls height and open space, then you will have the chance for weather inside the base. There are some tricks like adding Decoration, chairs, Lights, floors in strategic places.. but it can be pretty annoying for sure.
