I was in love with my cup that accompanied me on my 3 hour commute to work. Pressed down on the lid and it snapped completely off. The drive is going to be a lot longer now.

you don't need two chargers..you only need one charger at your destination (office). you can charge it there, take it home and still have it fully charged the next morning when you go to work again.

Just ordered the Ember 2 Travel Mug (at a lowered $120 price) because of the increased battery life. I returned the first Travel Mug because the battery life lasted barely an hour. I have loved my two Ember coffee mugs (the original 10 oz and later the 14 oz mug2) since the start, the number one reason being that EACH sip is the perfect individualized temperature. The ridiculous high price notwithstanding, nothing makes a perfect cup of coffee better than that. As your review highlighted, the Travel Mug holding only 12 oz is a big negative. I wonder if the tech would be compromised somehow with a bigger mug.

£220 That’s the same cost as my Nespresso machine and 200 coffee pods. (For a cup to keep your drink warm) Buy a thermos.

Hi. Thanks for the informative video. I have a question: If I pour hot coffee in it and I leave the mug off to switch it on after 3 hours when the coffee is a bit cold, can the mug heat it to me maximum temperature? I just want to prolong the the span of time between pouring the coffee and the time I drink it while keeping it hot. I think the coffee would be hot enough for the first few hours and you will need to use the battery only after that.

Poorly insulated mug to the point that the built-in heater is actually worthless, extremely expensive for the poor results, a Thermos" brand keeps temperature a lot longer than this mug, too bad for such a cool travel mug

I bought two travel mugs 2 and I've had the lids changed numerous times on both mugs, they stop working after a while. Don't buy this crap, you'll end up with a travel mug without a lid.
