@@vmlinuxz What are you talking about, he's right. Cull -> Sheen is the exact same cost as Mote -> Sheen + Cull. To answer you question @janso8896, you start mote in case you get bullied out of lane *before* you can afford cull + Sheen. In this game starting Cull would have been slightly better, but in a harder lane, you may only have earned ~300-500 gold before you get shoved out, in which case you'd be on Cull + Mote rather than Sheen, a much weaker spike.

i hate gp people say hes weak early but the dude gets sheen which doesn't take long and out trades you by pressing Q don't even need to hit barrels or proc passive. Gp is too good againt low mobility top laners which is a lot of melee bruisers.
