The city is actually known for crime, pot holes and being a dump. This video is fiction. I like it because of the illegal gambling and I like the people. Anything goes in Jackson and never even a thought about police. Jackson loves criminals.

I live in Jackson and I'm glad y'all got to visit and see some cool things. There are a lot of underground places in Jackson people don't know about and I feel people usually have a negative preconceived view of the city and state as a whole so it's cool y'all got to shine a light on some positives.

I live in Fondren District and I LOVE it. Glad you guys got to check it out and enjoy the vibes. Jackson tends to get alot of hate and bad reputation. If you actually spend time here and go where the locals are it can be AMAZING. My place of work is actually right across from the Gov. Mansion walk past it all the time going to lunch or the banks their garden smells amazing during bloom. Thanks for the positive review.

LOVE that Babalu restaurant that used to be an old school. Totally agree with the restaurant game in Jackson. Dang y'all that food was as Allison said "Heaven" The oders of Bourbon and Wood. Hmmm...interesting and OMG how toasty were you both at the end of this!! By the way that Pecan Vodka looked bomb!!!!! Hope y’all enjoyed your last night and enjoy that whiskey!

I've noticed your comments on this channel a lot lately and they are always very sweet and positive. But it doesn't seem like you know their videos were actually filmed three to six (or sometimes more) weeks in the past. Once in a while, they will tape something and upload it right away, but that's usually reserved for things like when they hit a milestone number of subscribers, or maybe to say Merry Christmas.

Jackson has its perks. We live in Fondren. It’s so awesome to have unique restaurants and bars, shopping right here in our neighborhood. If you visit again, come on the First Thursday of the Month for Fondren’s First Thursday formerly known as Fondren after Five. During that event you can pop into Hops and Habana for craft beer, cigars, and live music and have a country fried steak with curly fries at Roosters. Afterwards get tea cookies or brownies at Campbell’s Bakery. Morning coffee run at Cups in Fondren. It’s the best coffee in town. Thanks for showcasing some of the awesome things my ‘hood has to offer!

From the central MS area and you're right there are some amazing restaurants all around here but also all over the state. Next time you're in Fondren you have to try Saltines it's in the same building as Babalu's. The gravy fries at Saltines ate amazing and their desserts are wonderful! Also for a GREAT burger Rooster's is in Fonderen and Campbell's bakery is great fresh baked goodies. Then travel 3 more hours south to the MS gulf coast for some wonderful fresh seafood. I recommend McElroy's on the coast. Oh and stop at Crescent City Grill in Hattiesburg on your way to the coast.
