Really good stuff. Especially the testimonial template. Love it. If you release another, could u do the solo soloprenuer training. I think the two would go well together. That or starting from zero.

Any little tips for a very first portfolio / personal website ? Meaning without any real project to showcase or client testimonials. Thanks again for the always amazing content.
@PaytonClarkSmith7 ай бұрын
Absolutely! The project in your portfolio don’t have to be real client projects, they just have to be projects that you have done so I always recommend just reworking random websites and using those in your portfolio! Just make sure to put some fine print somewhere that says that that project was just for Practice purposes and that you’re not affiliated with the client

Excellent information and guide Payton, just want to ask a short question regarding the point where you advised not to let website visitors jump to your client website by providing the website link, my question is will it be a good practice to host a copy of the already designed client website or a sample portfolio website on your own sub domain so that all the traffic re-directs or remain on your own website?

this is amazing, thank you for sharing lots of added value. just started my journey to build a successful web agency, i learnt web developement since the age of 15 (19 now) so i would say pretty confident in building websites from scratch, i have a question for you Payton should i stick to building sites thorugh code or get into webflow ?

It doesn’t have to be work for real clients. You can still create work for your portfolio for practice and to build your portfolio! 👍🏻

I'm somewhat confuse on the "TALK ABOUT FEATURES OR TOOLS" It was discussed in the very first place not to talk about it. But after showing your portfolio. I was like. Hmmmm MEH... Was about to be convince but yeah some costumers might do care about it. But how many percentage will care about it? For about 10 customers how many of them will care about it if they're more into benefits.
@PaytonClarkSmith7 ай бұрын
Good question. This is the reason I represented it with just a small icon. Not too much attention or text about it. Just simple details about the project that can easily be ignored if it’s not important to them
@champolot7 ай бұрын
@@PaytonClarkSmith Interesting....I'm somehow doubtful if the recruiting manager could have an idea about this. But still I'm a bit doubtful about this. Specially if the recruiting manager is knowledgeable about the technologie or tech stack I guess....
