Apologies, it was not Glen Sannox that we visited (Sannox was the Glen we were going to visit but the weather was too poor), it was Glen Rosa. Sorry for any confusion....'my bad'!! 💙

Well guys what a wonderful ending to your time on Arran,I could see myself having a wee dip in that lovely water 💦 of course that's not something you do lightly in Scotland, always make sure you have a full medical team standing by to resuscitate you 😂. I agree 💯 that you should have paper copies of your photos, every time we come home my good lady always makes up an album, it's just so nice to look back on😊. Well we had our summer 🌞 here in Scotland which was nice and lasted a couple of days, so we had our once a year picnic 🧺 in the lovely little town of biggar, which has a great chip shop and a great ice cream shop. Anyway how's beautiful France this time of year 🤔. Take care guys, and God bless 😎🏴🕊️
@adventurevanfreddie6 ай бұрын
Hi there buddy, rather you than us, that water was freezing😰. There was no way that I was going for a dip and Claire's a medic👍🤔😂. Yep, it's far too easy to take a picture on a phone and leave them there. A book or album is definitely the way to go👍📷. 😂🤣😂, 'had your summer'......good old Scotland weather lol. Glad you took advantage of your very short summer and still ventured out and about👍. Surprisingly, the weather here is very hit and miss at the moment, but it's threatening to roll into summer any day👌🤞. Hope this finds you both well and many thanks as always for watching and for taking the time to leave the comment. God bless also and best wishes our friend. 👍💙❤️🚐🏴📷

Hi there, many thanks for watching and for taking the time to leave the kind comment. Arran is a beautiful place to visit and explore and we can definitely see why you wouldn't live anywhere else...stunning. Thanks yet again for the video guys, greatly appreciated. Saves us expats the air fare as we are still able to visit without the travel, us Northerners are cheap after all.

Lovely vlog again…fabulous moody photos. Whilst i have a Panasonic G9 as my main camera, i find myself being a bit lazy and using my IPhone 14 Pro Max an awful lot…Using live on the iphone you can produce a very good milky effect on running water. look forward to your next venture.
@adventurevanfreddie6 ай бұрын
Hi there, many thanks for watching. Yep, phones are very convenient for taking photos and to be fair, as technology improves and phone camera sensors increase the ability to capture more information, it won't be too long before the handheld camera is made more redundant. Ah, the G9 is a great camera and you should use it more lol! The problem we have with phone photography is that the sensors are currently too small for large printing quality, but for digital photos and social media applications, they're great. Many thanks again and all the very best, Tony and Claire

Evening both, well that was a very productive hike, it really makes me understand why photography is so important to you. I would normally go for the b/w print but on this occasion the colour print of the glen, waterfalls and mountains has that something special. If you ever get round to selling prints I would really love that particular one. Arran has been a pleasant surprise well worth the visit. Look forward to the next leg. ❤❤🚐🏴🍺🍺 Al
@adventurevanfreddie6 ай бұрын
Good evening Al. Thank you!! Photography is not only our 'thing', it's very much a reason to get out and about and to exercise; coupled with Freddie, it's the perfect combination. Yes, we are definitely still looking to sell prints, however, we are still working out the best way to get them printed, returned to us for proofing before posting.....and doing this from France, in between adventures etc. Very difficult as we definitely need to see the prints first. Your encouragement is very much appreciated by us both...thank you so much! Take care and all the very best as always our friend. 👍💙❤️📷🚐🏴

Hi. Thank you, glad you enjoyed the photos. Haha, yep, black and white photography always suits a moody day and a waterfall👍📷. Absolutely, it is definitely a shame that we couldn't make it as far north as Skye, our pennies couldn't stretch that far this time, but we will be returning one day👍💙❤️🏴. Love the idea of a Book T&C as you're right, hardly anyone ever looks back on their digital photos. I have amassed over 120 photos of the amazing month when I returned to the Falklands but this time, with a good camera and a great selection of lenses together with a zest for wildlife. I will soon turn those photos into a book. Would love you to see some of the images I took ❤️
@adventurevanfreddie6 ай бұрын
Hi again. Yep, it's so very easy to leave your photos in digital format on your phone or on a hard drive etc, but a book is a great way to record your adventures. That's the one regret we both have; we should have taken the opportunity to visit the Falklands on a photography trip before we left the service....what an incredible place to visit when you're not working there👍. Post your images on Instagram and tell us your handle and we'll follow you and take a look, we would love to see them👌📷. Take care and all the very best.
