I know this vid is old, but for anyone curious : These seem great, but for anyone new to breeding Animal Plastics seems to be the most cost effective racks. A 30 tub hatchling rack is like 300 bucks. Same as a 10 tub adult rack I believe, give or take. Shipping isn't bad either. Many rack systems are very expensive, probably rightly so, but when you could just get vacuum formed tubs from Sterlite and a way cheaper rack to start etc I feel like for beginners or someone wanting to just keep things small it makes way more sense.

I read online a rack is the best housing system for your snake. Is that the case for the whole life span or just during development/transition from store to home? It seems like a tank (10-15 gallons) would create a larger and more habitable space.

What are the dimensions of the tubs in these? Is there enough room for a large female to move around in them and get away from her mess if she goes to the bathroom? OMG, I hate the Popcorn space filler.. lol Bummer you need to call and get the 2 side bars. I've been debating on the FB or the ARS racks. I see that one is a hybrid, but do you have the original rack? Just curious on how they hold up. I also like the idea that you can buy a few levels at a time instead of dropping alot of money on levels you my not need. One other question Chris. I had a breeder tell me the hybrid system is terrible, that the tubs barely fit into the channels so they actually fall off of the tracks, or do they fit nicely? Thanks!

All my hybrid racks fit together perfectly, never had a problem. The tubs actually slide a bit smoother than the non hybrid racks.

Yes, I have my adults in 70 series tubs. I actually pulled up the carpet and put that floor down on concrete, it's called 'luxury vinyl' flooring. Pretty expensive stuff but I got it on sale for about 70% off. It just snaps together.

A vet check is always a good idea, make sure you get a vet that knows ball pythons. Hard to really know whats going on without seeing the snake.

If you buy a full rack or most of a rack they will include a huge power strip that you can plug all the tubs into, then plug that big power strip into your heat controller.
