When I'm tired and don't feel like tidying up, I tell myself: doing it is a gift that tomorrow me will be thankfull for. That gives me the push I need.

I run my apartment as if it were a resort. I play spa music, candles, clean and organized. It’s decorated simple, lovely and serene. Giving up social media(few years now) and three months ago, the news, has helped me in every area of my life. Great reinforcing podcast! ❤

Dear Mel, I can’t thank you enough not only for being my couch and motivator but also for being my English teacher. Yes, I listen to your podcasts to improve my listening and speaking skills (English isn’t my first language obviously). You and your guests give nonnative English speakers a ton of opportunities to enjoy different topics and accents too. Appreciate you, love you!

I agree Mel the phone light is a dangerous thing. Ideally switch it off 2 hours before bed, 6pm would be a great time a great thing to dob But for some reason we let our phones rule our day! 😮 thanks Mel ❤

Watching this video feeling pretty proud of myself: Wake-up time 6am: check. Clean up the mess after dinner: check. Set yourself up for the morning: check (making schoollunch for my kid in the evening) Take five minutes for yourself; I’m watching this video…On my phone while I’m in bed at 11pm FAIL! 🤣 No seriously, I do want to put my phone outside the bedroom. But this phone is also the line for emergency’s for my parents. How can I fix that.

@@koalaed so when a phone is an emergency line for my parents with health issues, all it takes is will power to drop that emergency line? 🤦‍♀️

@@Art_by_Nicole I meant willpower not to Google or watch things on it whilst it’s next to you. I sleep with mine next to my head and don’t touch it (I set 30mins of meditation music on it as I fall asleep). I too, have it next to me for emergencies. Blessings to you ✨

@@koalaed ah okay, now I see what you mean. You are absolutely right. I use to read a book in bed before falling asleep Since I’ve been burnout I can’t read anymore. I tried listening to podcasts and/or meditation but it has been making me feel restless. So instead of all that I’ve learned the habit to watch Youtubd)

I believe you have a point here, that themodern day parent who works alot, haschildren to see to, may not get alot of support, but anyway is juggling so much, that being on their phone with someone perhaps at the wrong time, is interfering witha healthy routine. And havevto be honest with yourself to put yr phone away and say noto yourself. ❤

Hahahahahaha 6AM is early? Ummmmm my morning requires a 4:30 AM wake up time. Which means being asleep at 8:30pm. At age 62 I work 2 jobs to make ends meet. Although i agree COMPLETELYwith these ideals but not everyone has the luxury

An hour and twenty minutes to describe your evening routine?! This is way too wordy for me. Maybe some people like to watch this long winded video, but it is not for people I hang out with.
