THE PERFECT FLYING WEEKEND!

After leaving the airplane in Knysna due to bad weather, it was time to head back to fetch the plane and ferry it back to Johannesburg. Whilst we were down at the coast, we decided to spend a couple days flying our KFA taildraggers to the local airports. We even got to fly and shoot from a helicopter which was a highlight of the trip.
After flying at the coast for a few days, it was time to head back. The total flight time was approximately 7 hours, which made this a shorter trip than usual as we were helped along by a light tailwind. The Rotax 915is performed unbelievably well throughout the trip, weather at 8500 feet or at sea level.
