The Perfect G-Shock?: Casio G-Shock GM2100 Casioak

Bought one in July 2024, having just discovered it. Bought it on ebay for $60! I own Rolexes and Cartier watches which I have paid more than $10-15k per watch. The thing is, I am just as excited to own this watch.

I just bought this model 2 days ago. I was afraid it would look big on my 6.5inch wrist but oh boy it fits perfectly. I have other Gshock GA 100 for my daily watch for over 6 years and this is perfect upgrade for 230$ after discount in Cambodia. Cheers 🥂

excellent video sir! one question. I just rec'd my gshock gm s2100 and it is already on the correct time zone setting (out of the box)... but it is a couple of minutes fast... how do I adjust it? can I manually set the hands?

I’ve got the all-black resin version of this watch, it’s so stealthy and cool looking, if very unpractical 😆 In the same display cabinet they also had all the new color ways of these metal capped versions too, including the silver one reviewed here. Still, I preferred the one I ended up getting. Out of all the metal ones, I thought from photos, that I’d prefer this silver version. But seeing them in the metal, I found myself preferring the blue instead. It’s now gone, somebody purchased it. But the last time I was there, this silver version was still available. The green and red I find to be meh. I still might yet get myself this metal version mind. They’re such stylish yet affordable watches. Before I got my all-black there was this all-grey resin variation I hadn’t seen before. Which I liked even more. But by the time I decided to get myself a Casioak, it had sold too. If I see this version again somewhere and the blue metal capped, I think I’m going to get them. For as you’ve probably gathered, together with mine, they are my favorite Casioak variations.

@@RimZeime I ended up also purchasing the silver metal capped version. After holding both it and the blue version in my hands. It was a quite a hard decision though. I still might get the blue down the line sometime, maybe 🤷‍♂️

I bought one and i will let you know because this watch is 49,3mm x 44,4mm x 11,8mm and the ga2100 is 48,5mm x 45,4mm x 11,8mm

if u have smaller wrists (like me), go with the gm s2100. at 40mm. it is the perfect size and it is a beautiful timepiece...

A nice narrative but man, what a pity some 75 percent of the screen is taken up by a bright background rendering the watch almost invisible... No close ups, no light hitting the dial, it is like you were filming in the shadow against a bright, sunlit background. Sorry for being so frank, these were my impressions. Keep it up though 🤗👍
