A story I thought of while listening to this: In your class, a new girl has recently just joined. Every time someone asks her name, she gives a different answer, and no once knows what country she's from. She's hard to describe, her looks differ depending on how you want to view her. If you find her pretty, she's pretty, but if you find her ugly, she's ugly. You don't know what to think of her or how to get close to her. All you know is that she's odd. She doesn't talk to anyone unless they talk to her. She doesn't ask questions of her own, either. She just responds. Or sometimes, she just ignores. Even the students who usually bully people don't know what to do with her. She's just sort of....there. One day, you ask her if she wants to spend the night with you, as in a sleep over. She says maybe, and you tell her where you live. You sit at home in your bed, waiting for her. After a while, you realize she's not coming. Of course, you think. Who would want to hang out with someone like me, anyways? You head to bed, not even disappointed, because you've learnt that if you expect the worse, you'll *never* be disappointed. The second your head hits the pillow, you fall asleep. You dream. For the first time in weeks, you have a dream, not a nightmare. And in said dream, the girl is standing there. She doesn't even speak, she just looks at you. So you speak. You say, 'Hello.' She smiles at you, and that's it. The next day, when you wake up and go to school, she smiles at you again. 'Who are you, really?' You ask. And that's when it hits you. It's _you._ She's your mind. If you're a stranger to yourself, that's what you'll be to every body else.... 😀
