Received my teal dial version of the watch. Wears 38mm true (if not slightly bigger) on my 7" wrist. For me, the star of the show is the bracelet, never had one that tapers from 20mm to 16mm. With those H links, 6 micro adjustments on the milled Clasp, it hugs my wrist superbly. Feels light and more planted than my Orient Kamasu (42mm, 22mm lugs, 22mm non-taper), which now feels huge!

I've ordered the teal dial. Really like it's sporty individual styling, and the symmetry with no date. The all round specs are very nice on a watch of this price. Looking forward to receiving mine soon.

Very nice, the teal dial looks awesome!

Being used to both polished and or brushed sides to a watch. I can imagine trying to make this watch look like new after many years of use, will be difficult if not impossible. Either one or the other, but not polished and sand blasted...The dial is beautiful.

An automatic watch with a sleeping second hand being as slim as slim as this one can only have a Miyota 9 series movement. Overall I like it. They've done something different here and the dial with the angled-cut is rallye interesting. Personally I can do without the date window. Can't read it without glasses anyway! The only major downside I See is the quite massive and exposed polished bezel surrounding. I'd rather like it to be brushed. That's a scratch magnet I reckon! Cheers Oscar
@IBoughtAWatch3 жыл бұрын
And you'd be right to have that concern, this review copy has picked up a fair few scratches already on that polished bezel, so perhaps an all brushed option would keep looking new for longer!

You said the resizing is push pin, they are screw links. Mine arrived recently, and I will be doing my own review. It's not the perfect watch, but it's very good. Liked your review

Nice review and very nice watch. I’ve only noticed rotor wobble on my 2 Miyota 9000 movements about 5 times in 2 years. I’m wondering whether they vary because some people get quite upset about it. Or maybe I need my ears tested!
@watchalot9193 жыл бұрын
I have several watches with that movement. The rota wobble is never felt when on the wrist, and is a great calibre. Nice watch, but perhaps 40mm would be nicer. Like so many micro brands, it's not actually available.
@IBoughtAWatch3 жыл бұрын
On the contrary it is still very much available, they've got a sale on to sell the last few in the shipment that are due to arrive in the next two weeks!

Nice looking watch. Think it could look even better it they had switched the indices let to right as would have given it a more concentric look.

NO....It does NOT need a date window. There are not enough no date dive/sport style watches out there for people like me. As I learn more and get more experienced, I am beginning to see the value of no date watches. I don't need to buy a winder. I love the cleaner lines.

Good review! Glad I subscribed. Personal foible: I don't care for the uneven markers. Dial is impressive. Thanks!

Hello. This is my absolutely very first comment on this channel. So, I will share my opinions abut the watch and your channel alike. But firstly, the watch. At 38mm is definitely too small for me (my sweet point is around 42mm). I didn't noticed if you mentioned your wrist size. Miyota 9xxx series is a very good thing to see in a micro. (Been tired of the NH35 movements). It's good that they went an extra mile to match the no date dial with the movement, eliminating the ghost date position on the stem. Extra spinning? No problem at all for me. About the hour /minute hand... They should have gone for a prolonged sword style ones, similar with one the Casio MTP-1214 have. Also, the diagonal cut should have been made to ALL hour indexes, creating a slight swirled effect (or a vampire one,? Haha). The actual 3 different style and dimensions markers make me dizzy... They should make them all equal in dimensions (the ones at 12,3,6 and 9 are too long). I also don't need a date on my watches. They look cleaner and are easier to set up. Great to see from which watches this one draw inspiration. The price is s bit steep, even in pre-order stage. Something under 300 usd would make me ignore those 38mm and grab my credit-card. Lastly, where is this company based? Where they ship from? An aspect you forgot to mention in the section where you gave us some background infos. Now about you and your growing channel. I've came here from one if your Instagram posts, the one where you confessed about how is a life of watch reviewer. The tone and open mind made me curious. I really like your style of doing reviews (yeah, you've got yourself a new subscriber 😎). Also answering to all comments shows how sensitive you are towards your viewers. Very good.

Wow, thanks for such a detailed comment! You've pretty much written your own review 😅 I'm not 100% sure where they ship from, but thanks for subscribing and again feel free to keep commenting! Trying to cultivate a friendly community in the comments section 🤙🏻

Relio is based out of Los Angeles, but are the watches actually assembled and tested in America or are they manufactured overseas? The affordable price tag of $395 is probably a reflection on the fact that the watches are produced other than the United States.

I don’t have any need for the date function, nor a go anywhere watch. I have 8 watches and counting and I’d never, even limit myself to one or two watches. Thinking of ordering the red version, but that 38mm size is smaller than I want to go.
@jeremyrice37193 жыл бұрын
Zero need for a date window. I have 8 watches and counting. Don’t need to keep changing the date because I like variety. Great dial, fun case, and like, bit don’t love the indices. The hand set and the especially the second hand are well done. My only quibble is the size. I like 40mm - especially in a cushion case or 42, 43 without. Watches are small enough as it is. I’m not into miniaturizing them any further.
