I just sat down to work up your Deaths-head Hawkmoth. That is until I made the mistake of checking KZbin and saw THIS AWESOMENESS!!

I saw this project and my crochet bug came back! Thank you so much! I stitched it up for the kids ward at the hospital I'm working it just in time for Halloween and they loved it (and the staff loved it even more lol).

I love seeing your video pop up in my feed! I think of you as “Thursday”, ngl. Thank you for your hard work (I KNOW a LOT of work goes into each and every video, not “just” crochet), and for sharing yourself with all of us! Hugs from your “mum” across the pond! And ADORABLE as always!!! 🎃🧡 xx - Lisa 🫶🏻☺️🧶

You should do a challenge where you design a piece without planning anything, and no undoing rows, basically just making it as you go (if you think it would be enough of one). Also I love this pattern it's adorable!!

I'm so excited by this make. It's something I really want to do. I dont understand the pokémon game at age 76. But I watch that to see how you form the creatures creatures. This one, I will adapt to my own use and learn in the making of it myself. I so enjoy watching you create shapes and creatures. I dream of making impkins and have that and her other books. Your method of creating makes very good sense to me. You are also very fun to watch.

PS I have forgotten the meaning and purpose of the combined totals.
@ComplicatedKnots Жыл бұрын
When I'm stitching "5 rows of 10 stitches" I don't count to 10 five times, I just count 50 stitches. I include combined totals in case it makes it easier for anyone else to do it that way :)
@Anne5440_ Жыл бұрын
@ComplicatedKnots Thank you. I understand now. I just adore this pattern and got ideas for variations. I intellectually understand your design design directions. I'm still enough of a beginner at amigurumi. I don't trust my ability to execute patterns, much less change them. I began traditional crochet in 1963. The crochet world has come a long way in the last 20 years, I believe.

I love your videos so much! But while I’ve watched heaps, I’m curious, for this tree for instance, do you just feel your way with inc and dec or do you really math out every round?
@rebeccalane5610 Жыл бұрын
So amazing, do you think using metal wires and magnets would make them removable ? Or would the magnets need to be really strong to work through the yarn?
@ComplicatedKnots Жыл бұрын
Probably strong magnets, but you'd have to test it to know for sure...I've seen people use magnets successfully with crochet before!

Love the projects however that background music was hard on the ears. It's a higher pitch and honestly made it a struggle to proceed. Is there a lower tone you could consider? Thanks
@ComplicatedKnots Жыл бұрын
No worries, sorry about that. I try out different music all the time, I think this was my first time using that particular track.
