@@kevinberg4623 extremely light weight. You can tune them to shoot extremely hard due to the lightweight. More of the power can be dedicated to the power, accuracy and especially range. Vs Blowback strength and its follow up shots. I use this 4.3 featherweight aluminum slide from Sanctus customs. Truly the best among metals. For durability, strength, reliability definitely metal slide. For power, range, and a hard kick. Plastic is the winner. It will break tho. I am a tech with 100’s of hours of experimentations.

When you look closely to the slow motion side to side comparison between the two slides, white one has more barrel movement than the tan one. Just because slide moves faster doesn't mean it's better. Personally, I run pistols as primary; so shot to shot accuracy and consistency is my go-to. Unless of course if you're running pistols as your back up then I understand why speed is the goal. However if so then why dump so much money on "upgrading" a secondary?

Yes great question! The hicapa is a type of airsoft gun. Basically just a more modern 1911. Looks pretty similar just has a larger magazine 👍🏻

The internals on a TM are very good. As long as you do not run them on too high of a psi (if you use HPA that is) they should last a long time. (75-85 psi for stock TM) 4.3 vs 5.1 is mostly a preference game. They both have advantages and disadvantages. 4.3 : 1. faster slide speed. (less weight) 2. Slightly newer. (TM learned from possible mistakes?) 3. pre installed tactical rail. 5.1 : 1. Easier to find parts for. 2. Longer barrel. (its only a few millimeters though barely makes a difference in accuracy terms) The two guns are very similar. As for a beginner gun i would suggest buying an AEG not a sidearm. If you mean first sidearm then they are both the best in the business. These guns both run on green gas and are not suited for cold temperatures. Anything below 45 F can cause your green gas mags to leak. Hope this was helpful!

@@smakmyass3276 You can build inexpensively or expensively. Hi capa metal slides are around $120- $150. Outer barrels $25-$80. Your outer barrel, Slide, And hop up are going to be some of your most expensive parts. 2nd most expensive will be BBU, inner barrel, and nozzle. everything else after that is usually below $20.

@@smakmyass3276 The only plastic parts on TM hi capas are the slide, nozzle, and grip. It's no different in other countries. Same goes for Japan. (All hi capas have a plastic nozzle stock. I still use a plastic nozzle.) The grip itself takes no pressure when the hi capa fires so whether its plastic does not really matter. (in terms of comfort people don't love the plastic. I use granulated grip. no durability issues though.) Finally TM uses ABS plastic for their slides. Its not "cheap plastic" still not the most durable though. If you run higher than 90 psi on a plastic slide it will probably break.
