Right across the street from MoinMoin is Tzu Chi Humanistic Centre, there's a outdoor cafe there selling sourdough bread at affordable prices. The seating overlooks Yishun Park. The ambience of sitting there and eating is serene and peaceful, you wouldn't believe you're at Yishun. Give it a shot, I think you guys would love it.

Awww, you guys missed out on going to slow bakes, which is just beside this area, inside of Tzu Chi Humanistic Youth Centre. Their breads and coffee is not bad, with nice view of the lake. Recommended to go for breakfast as they close by 2pm

​@@HongisBoredtoo bad today laksa nv open ...but we went 925 there had laksa yong Tau hu... It is good 7 ingredient with mee hoon n laksa gravy only $5.50. The moin moin Icecream it is nice. We ordered one with waffle cone with tie guan yin peach...another is tie guan yin and osamathas lychee with waffles... Please note dun order this two flavor together as when I ate osamathus lychee I can taste osamathus but when I had tie guan yin peach n eat back osamathus lychee left lychee taste cant taste the osamathus.. I surely will come back again to taste other flavor...

Ate the laksa for 20+ yrs and at least thrice per week, unfortunately you can skip it alr. The boss officially retired and the original cook took over the cashier role, the new cook cmi and the laksa broth taste rancid while the cockles are often undercook or uncooked.

love the swiss roll from the bakery. every time in this area will have the laksa and iced almond beancurd or iced cheng tng from the dessert store next door for more than 20 years. imo I felt that wouldn't recommend sembawang for estate tour as its pretty boring here. and to get these store featured in the video, it is easily accessible through Northpoint City as there's link bridge.
