Sir. unbelievable job. I am a retired police Captain out of the state of Michigan and been flying Mavic Pro for around a year and just got another one which I am now using. A year ago on my first mavic I did a firmware update and it appeared to go well and then dropped out of he ski, It was one that I did not update the battery but it was their first firmware and I watch it drop like a atom bomb, This new one I have shows a firmware update I believe of 400 but afraid of doing it. My drone flies perfect, lands o return hone on the X and takes good pictures and everything seems to work, now that I adjusted my gimble with your help that does not concern me at all, but this update is for different music and goggles and one other with minor tweeks. This drone has been flawnless, all sensors, perfect, beautiful pictures but I am scared to death to do a firmware update. I just ordered a Plantinum to have a extra, but sometimes updates can make you regret it afterwards. Since I am a retired Police Officer that means I am not to sharp but you have restored honesty, your presentation Is second to none. Please if you have time can you give me some advise as I dont know how this Mavic can perform any better, thanks Rick

Hi Rick: I gotta tell you that I've watched literally hundreds of MAVIC Pro video for many different reasons with settings & operation being first & foremost to me. I can say with 100% certainty that you & your channel is unequivocally the very best on all of KZbin and I'm subbing your channel as soon as I finish this comment. I just got my MAVIC PRO yesterday. I flew my best friends MAVIC for the first time 3-days ago and was SHOCKED AT HOW EASY IT WAS TO FLY! Here is the twist in all of this; I'm 56-years old and permanently disabled due to 4-near death auto accidents, I wasn't responsible for. I was hit by others, for which their driving under influence was the direct cause of the accidents & injuries sustained. It's to long & to detailed to go into, so I will make it brief. If, and only "if? you are interested to know more, just IM me or contact me through KZbin. I broke my neck in 3-places and was completely paralyzed from the neck down. Believe it or not, tonight is the 40th anniversary of that accident which happened on February 4, 1978 at age 16. After 2-years and 3700-hours of therapy, plus a 12-hour reconstructive surgery on my neck, I lived past the 2-4 weeks I was given. I got back just enough function to be able to stand & take a few awkward, off balance steps, with severe limp & drop foot on both feet. I did however get back enough arm & hand function that I was at 80-90% of normal. Doctors all said, " you have absolutely zero% of ever using my arms or legs and I'd need to learn how to use a specialized wheelchair. Is said, " BS! I'm walking out of this hospital no matter how bad you say my spinal cord is crushed & severed in 3-separate levels! ". The rest I'll tell you later if you like. I mention this because flying A MAVIC and taking both video & photos allows me the possibility of making a little xtra money as it's IMPOSSIBLE to live of Social Security Disability. My hands and fingers work as well or better than some as is my Eye Hand Coordination. My goal is to get all licenses & certifications to do so under all rules & regulations. Your Videos are what I plan on using in learning all the tips, tricks, and basic functions of the MAVIC PRO, in order to achieve my goal. Granted I made my first flight from the stable platform of my wheelchair, but hope to master FPV Goggles if and when I can afford them? I wanted to thank you personally for producing the highest quality video instructions and appreciate your sharing your wealth of KNOWLEDGE- SKILLS- and doing so with a very POSITIVE ATTITUDE‼️ Keep up the excellent work, and I forwarded this video & your channel to several other MAVIC PRO owners & friends of mine. Sorry so long, but it was worth it IMO.BEST WISHES & CONTINUED GOOD FORTUNE.Wm. Sturman ~

Drone Valley Hi again.. I do have one question if you’ve come across. Yesterday, I ran the Auto Gimbal Calibration (have done this before to completion with no issues, and my Pro is just a week old and never had a crash...yet) and around the 20% mark.. I started hearing a spinning and clattering sound so when I looked, the gimbal was crazily spinning and seems to be hitting the sides.. so I decided to shutdown the Quad as I didn’t know how else to stop it. I reconnected the RC and tried again but it was doing it again.. so i restarted.. I do see the gimbal starting up ok and not doing the spinning (as it did in auto calibration mode). I flew for the next hour or so and went thru two batteries and filled lots of good footage. When i got back home, I tried the auto calibration again and it still gets stuck at 25% spinning and making a horrific sound..so I’d shut it down.. it starts fine and I’m fairly sure it will fly and will shoot footage.. Just don’t understand why this is happening. I’ll try the advance settings you showed here.. but if you have any ideas, please advice. Thanks Rick!
