"mobile"/"manufactured homes" always used to be under $100k...now, they start at $210,000.00 on up and up and up and up....

Actually… if you look up near your area (State). You can find a manufacturer that produces homes from 40k - 120k. They are also quite large living spaces with same layouts just different models. Look for BBB accredited and certified as an honest company, it shows you reviews and history.

Anybody that would pay $200,000+ for a mobile home that depreciates just as fast as automobiles needs to get their head checked. They will always depreciate in value every year as opposed to a brick-and-mortar home that appreciates in value every year. People used to purchase these because they could get a new home for a third of the price of a brick and mortar but now they are charging the same price for a double wide trailer as a foundation homestead which is insane.

Lovely, but you still need to evacuate during a hurricane. $235K and it still is not hurricane-hard. And without the land to go with it. So, if you put this on private land, you pay for a water source (drill a well), pay to get a power pole and hookup, and pay a county impact fee so you can count on at least another $50K so you’re inching toward $300K for a structure without the land cost AND it is still not hurricane-hard.

Agree 100%. Most dealers tell me it’s an option to have the ventilation system placed above. Why wouldn’t they just put them there in the first place and be done with it. SMH.

There is no place in the master where you can hang long clothes. I would like all my wood the same color even in the kitchen I don't like that chopped up look. Not crazy about floor vents but something like this I could live with, and also I would like stainless steel appliances I don't like the black. If they can make it like that I would buy a home like this it's perfect.

I don’t know the first two bedrooms seem kind of small on the master does not seem as big as the master should be. I personally don’t like the windows that are low because you only have one wall you could really put your bed on the master bath is beyond amazing the bathtub and the shower and the vanity is amazing. Personally, don’t like where you have to walk through the bathroom to get to a closet. It doesn’t make much sense to me or if someone’s in the bathroom and you have to get ready but I also don’t like a closet. I like that the toilet is in an open area.

This home is phenomenal but the price is RIDICULOUS!!! No longer affordable housing at this price. You can thank Joe Biden and his supporters for this current ridiculous housing market. I hope Deer Valley at least has higher standards and quality then some of these other manufacturers. Definitely stay away from Clayton. I would go with a Barndominium over this. Do a lot of the work myself and sub out some of the work. Spend much less with a solid built home where you can ensure the quality of the work being done versus trusting these factories that are cranking these out as fast as possible. Make sure to do your research. Just my opinion.
