go down into the deepslate caves and find big caves, there might be only 1-2 veins of diamonds but it wont take long!

You can find diamonds at Y0 or when the deepslate layer begins and below with the further you go down the higher the chance of diamonds, but don't go down to bedrock because the bedrock will hurt diamond spawns. Mine anywhere between y50 and y58 as that tends to be the sweet spots for diamonds right now.

I've been waiting for this for so long and it is finally here! Extremely excited about this and as is usual for me I have a few suggestions The first one is once you start getting a lot of resources for building and get really good gear you can try building a connected network of mining outposts in the caves. This idea came to mind as the new caves are much bigger and wider and thus it's much easier to make little outposts with a crafting and smelting area and also a storage facility for each outpost for blocks that you get in excess such as cobblestone, dirt and others :D The second one is to establish a proper base as your main HQ of sorts, basically a small camp with connected series of houses for each thing (crafting house, smelting house, armor and weapons, storage, etc.) with an entrance to a bunker in the middle of all of them that leads to a grand facility, maybe with a statue in the middle and a trophy room. I'll think a bit more on this one as it requires a ton of space, time and resources to make :) Can't wait to watch more of this!! :D

This is the first step into the future which is that of hermitcraft. I feel that Spudetti will build and survive among the other hermits such as the master of redstone (Mumbo) and the master of building / trolling (Grian). Although I feel she will be good friends with Pearl as both share similar qualities. We will have to see during Hermitcraft season 10 and beyond.

So excited for this series! Great job! A suggestion? I live in Oregon and we have a set of peaks here called Three Sisters. That view reminds me a bit of the view of the Cascade Range here in the US. If you're in to naming landmarks, maybe the collection of peaks in the middle could be Four Daughters, and the larger peaks on the left and right could be something fatherly and motherly?

Handeling baby zombies without armour is very difficult. An easy way is to jump in the water they can't go across the current so they can't attack you

For finding diamonds I think the best level is y -59 or-58.

I love the new terrifying caves. The old caves were so easy to light up, but now there's so many holes and intersecting caves it's nearly impossible to light up everything, even with the new spawning light levels. I can see why they changed it now.

So in 1.18 the best place to mine for diamonds is while standing on y level -58! also... u can find many diamonds in the huge deepslate caves! Since the caves r so big now... it will be easier to find diamonds. Hope this helped Spudetti. Love ur vids!

I have a suggestion, Maybe put up your FOV to Quake pro, that way you can see your surroundings better. Trust me. it helps ALOT. Also your lets play series is really nice! Love it!
