Sry Murphy's law hit so hard man. The video came out gr8. I had a question/suggestion, probably stupid to ask cuz u probably thought of it but Did you bore out the end of the pvc by the flywheels? Darts mite be hitting the edge if the pvc adding to barrel drag.

It's not impossible at all, I'm just glad it turned out so well. Day 1 when we saw the Ultra 2 I said I'm putting the Ultra 1 stock on it, but I couldn't have imagined how good it would have worked out.

Walcom S7 we were all confused when we saw 8 darts for a 25 round cylinder, and this was a great idea considering that the ultra 2 holds four darts.

You know, Nerf took a blaster that had all the right ingredients to be an amazing blaster, and just ruined it. Semi auto, flywheel, rear loading revolver, that actually looks really good, and they ruined it. It's like having all the ingredients for the perfect recipe for the perfect dish, cooking it, serving it up on a nice plate, then taking a big ultra dart shit right in the middle and proclaiming dinner is served.

I know this is an old video, but I loved this blaster so much I bought one to mod (just swapping it to standard darts, and using mostly stock electronics) the parts haven't shown up yet, and in the meantime I just took the blaster apart, realigned the flywheels, and it seems to fire pretty happily. It's at least accurate enough that my dad was able to land all 6 darts on me from across the living room

Seeing this now after literally just getting my hands on the Dorado, I can't help but wonder if this might've been how the Dorado/Scream Machine was initially conceived and the designers just scraped the idea. Or maybe corporate had a hand to play in it; happens on occasion (Elite 2.0, cough cough). That said, the mod looks like a thing of beauty. Sorry to hear about the constant computer issues you had trying to make this video; hope things fair better in the days to come.

I’m glad I’m not the only one that thought of putting an inner barrel in the two. Also in regards to the flywheels being “off,” I believe it was intentional as I noticed when you pull the trigger, the cylinder is offset slightly and it doesn’t settle until you release the trigger. That’s just my cracked theory 😂

Alright this was worth the wait and the effort. Great vid. Particularly like the music over sped up work montage. Absolutely beautiful piece. I am always amazed at no paint integrations. And a thought, perhaps consider hit makers on screen for the range test? It is very rare that i even have an idea where its going til you tell me afterword lol. Keep up the good work.

If you're watching on a smaller screen it's probably impossible to see, and it doesn't help that I rendered this at 30fps instead of the usual 60fps because of the massive file size, AND ultra is goddamned impossible to see. I'll try to see what I can do in the future, I was just talking about this to a friend but it's seriously not as easy as you'd think :P

@@irongophermods4755 Naw, thanks for bringing it to my attention. Again, I was just talking about this with a friend. I don't want to just show you a picture of all the impact points but I also don't know how feasible it is to add a picture for every single impact. To do so in Vegas would require the following step: 1) Drag picture to Timeline 2) Zoom into viewer and find spot where Image fits 3) Click the Scene Edit button on the picture 4) Drag and place the image where I need it 5) Change length of image on screen by dragging the edges inward. It might not be too bad for 5-6 shots, but doing it 30-40 times and you can quickly see how crazy that'd get.

Chehalis, huh? I was born in Aberdeen, went to school in Tukwila, worked out of Tacoma before transplanting to the Bay Area. My u2 is a jam o matic out of the box. Never have gotten all cylinders to fire without some jam, whether slow, fast, or anything. so gotta mod the **** out of it. Are there links to anyone who's printing that stock so I dont have to order the other blaster? my little Mars printer isn't gonna cut it for this.

Great vid! I am trying to improve accuracy without too much work ... do you know if someone is selling barrel inserts for the Nerf Ultra 2? I tried making a smoother barrel lining using rolled up cellophane ... and it works great, until the cellophane starts losing its tight curl. I saw Elite mods for Ultra 2 have a reduced caliber barrel liner - can I get one that is just big enough for actual Ultra darts?
