When it comes to dressier shoes, thrift stores are definitely a good place to check. If you get some older pricier brands, they’re basically designed to be passed down across generations so if they’re in good shape then you should be able to take care of them to the point where they’d outlast you. I got a couple pairs of Allen Edmund’s (around $400 per pair) for like $8 per pair. One was for me and the other was for my dad.

I’ve ordered a few things from Aurelien. The loafer is a very good quality, I think better than my suit supply. A bit mixed feeling about my merino wool cardigan, as they need super special care. If you want to buy shoes from massimo dutti, I think it’s worth to wait and buy for the next summer (or for late summer) - when discounted 50%, they are very worth the money.

If you don't have slender feet, the KOIO Capri is better than all others, especially common projects. Toe box is more forgiving while still keeping a overall svelte silhouette. Love the video.

Good video, but I think it’s missing some boots. Especially Chelsea or work. Those are so versatile they look great, can be worn in the cold, and of course, dressed up or down. I know it’s 2024, but we as men can do a lot better than loafers, especially for formal situations. Personally, a big fan of the Thursday low premier. Surprised that you didn’t think highly of it. It’s really good quality structure and leather and of course it’s extremely affordable.
