This was so helpful! I work in vet med; we constantly see soft-sided carriers that are floppy, poorly-secured, frustrating for us and the cats. I have a 12 year old doll face Persian mix that will be going to more frequent vet visits upcoming (not complaining, I’m blessed to have her and access to specialists). She’s never loved the drives! Your video came up in my search for comfortable carrier options. I want her to be as low-stress as possible, thanks for your helpful review! Currently eyeing the Sleepypod Air for the extra room for blankets, though her petite self could fit in the Atom.

Thank you for the helpful video. I just learned about Sleepy Pods last night. I really want the round pod for my female Maine Coon who is 13-15lbs, but we might be cutting it close. I can’t help but notice your sofa is gorgeous and looks so comfy. I want to reach out through the screen and squeeze the cushions. Do you mind sharing the brand of your sofa, and do you allow any kitties on it? I am researching cat friendly sofas as well for my family room.

It was bought on SamsClub.com website several years back. It is a slipcover sofa. I occasionally take off the slipcovers and gentle wash them in the washing machine and air dry them. I have had no problem doing that though it is not recommended by the manufacturer. The material appears to be duck cloth so is very durable. They do not recommend washing them because of the stitching coming undone. If you are a seamstress, that should not be a problem reinforcing the seams. Yes, my cats do enjoy the sofa with me. It is feather cushions so extremely comfortable.

Is it ok take Himalayans in airplane? I read that it's not safe. Is it true?

They need to be in the cabin with you under the seat in front of you, not where they put luggage.
