Down to his last day of archery hunting for elk in Idaho, Corey has one final chance at redemption. A massive snow storm has dumped snow all night - even collapsing their tents - but it’s gotten the elk stirred up and bugling like crazy.
Through the falling snow, Corey has a bull fired-up, broadside and within bow range. Will this be the big break he needs to fill his tag?

Tough hunt. Failure analysis: run the risk of being picked off, but range the actual animal, you always have more time than you think.....snow and arrows never mix well either.....we all feel the pain of public land pressure but it beats a private ranch or high fence hunt

The steep up and down hill is a hard shot at the best of time. Can't wait till the next one, I like waiting in-between episodes it gives a guy something to look forward too. 🙂🙂

Wow bummer of a season for you guys but hey they happen... that's for sure. Next season will be better I'm sure! Question: Corey, you have a little thing on your side that holds your bow for you. I looked them up and could barely find anything like it however I did eventually. Wondered if you could share what that specifically is? I've never seen them until you. Pretty neat. Thanks! Range finders. Good and bad. Don't become dependent on them. A trad's range finder is close, right there, and way the F out there. LOL I used to count steps of the shooters in front of my group to get an estimate. Short and long steps, uphill, down hill...that never worked either. LOL

Hi guys , Accept my apologies if I am mistaking. I have noticed , when you’re bugling , a vibration in your call , before a much neater/cleaner tone when starting the long note. Therefore , if I may ask , Is it something you have developed over the years , which you think perfects your calls ? Have you introduced this vibrating part within your calls so as to extend your catalogue of different calls ? Is it something which just happened? But more importantly , if you’ve introduced this vibrating part within your call intentionally , do you think / have you noticed that you are getting more responses since? Sorry for the lengthy message , but I am genuinely interested as I like to call myself deers , boars and elks for management programs , aiming to survey healthy and sustainable regional opportunities. Thank you for your time. Chris
