Beautiful work. This leads to a couple of questions. Would it be possible to make a kite with areas of the wing able to ‘open’, if you sew in Velcro on one length of the ‘opening parts’, almost like gills? When not engaged the ‘doors’ are just open or loose, making possible for stronger winds passing through. When fastening the ‘doors’ again it should be suitable for ordinary or low wind strength.

@@aerialiskites Yes! Almost like that, but still each panel has one edge sewn intact (keeping it in place makes for less trouble finding it I guess). As always I’m thinking about my upcoming kite cam, or cam kite is probably more correct.
