I’ve been searching and developing ’a perfect throw’ which I think I’ve found now. There is nowhere to go from here. Music from #Uppbeat (free for Creators!): uppbeat.io/t/y... License code: BQLBZRV1EUGA9YEY

I have been thinking about how similar knife throwing can be to throwing a baseball. (In terms of the sliding release). And u just demonstrated it better than i could ever could have. Very useful tips as always🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼

Thanks. The more I train the more everything seems to be one and the same thing.

I'm searching for that throw as well. Top notch throwing!

Your style looks like the combination of wave-style/SKANF (w.r.t lower body movement, loading the hips etc.) with Western style (arm is more active, and extended, elbow ends farther from the body).

I have a question, when throwing, should I let the knife slide through my hand or push it? What exactly is the method?
@joelholopainen68659 күн бұрын
Let it slide out from your hand. That is simpler. One moving part less and faster throws are possible with it. Before I used to push but later I found it unnecessary.

Hi Joel, me again, sorry for the inconvenience. I'm having a little difficulty getting past the 3 meter distance in "no spin", because instead of that it did a half spin, I'm making the knife slide, how do I fix this? How do I decrease the rotation while maintaining the force, I think the detail of the hand and what to do with it is the most difficult for everyone and the right way to slide.@@joelholopainen6865

Thanks. The wave no spin throw is a true rabbit hole which has so many little details and moving parts.

Pirun siistiä löytää tämä sun kanava! Sit vaan yhteisvideoo Adam Celadinin kanssa :D Olen ajatellut aloittaa harrastuksen veitsenheiton parissa vähän enemmän tosissaan sen sijaan että randomisti viskelee eräpuukkoa kannon pätkiin metsässä :)

Cooli-o... XD

Hi, could you tell me how to decrease or increase the rotation rate of the knife in an instinctive half or full spin throwing?
@joelholopainen68654 ай бұрын
The firmness of the grip plays a big role. I have this old video: This regards only full spin but it might help: kzbin.info/www/bejne/p37bemtprN-kbaMsi=KS8wkMiybAd23Yaq
