Thanks for answering my question - I’d never thought about sight barriers, so that’s definitely something new I will try! 😄

Hermanns are my favorites. I started out with one in a 6ft by 3 ft table and now I have a breeding group of 2.2.3 and twelve hatchlings. Lol They are perfect for apartment living. I used to live in a single wide with three kids and the torty fit in great. I started to breed them since in MI (the northern states) they were not as available I had to get them from other places. I just love them and their little personalities. Thank you for the review and education.

❤do you paint the outside of your habitat? If you do what type of paint is best? Love your energy and content

I haven't painted my enclosures but if you do deside to paint then i suggest using high gloss paint and allow plenty of time for the enclosure to ventilate the paint fumes

I painted both inside and outside inclosures be sure to get paint that is low VOC or no VOC the give it time to off gas. Outside is not as vital as in but I gave it a week or two. At least that what I have done and no problem. I even polyurethaned the bottom to keep from moisture damage. Then lined with extra string clear shower curtain. Anyway good luck
