I love the butter cream moisturizer. I actually do use the moisturizer as a styling cream - no gel, I pare this moisturizer with the kinky curly knot today leave-in conditioner and it works every time, however, I have type 4 curls. I suspect this moisturizer may not work for looser curls? Maybe.

I feel the same way about needing a cream styler! 8 years natural and I still can't say I have a fool-proof wash n go product! I don't like gels, but I would use a tiny bit of gel if needed (if it didn't flake). I love Camille Rose Naturals Almond Jai Twisting Butter. But, it's $16.99 and it has great moisture but no hold. Thanks for this and please keep up the wash n go series! Grateful to benefit from your trial and error! Gonna binge watch your other videos in the series in the next few days!

Jazziijemish I love the deep conditioner, I use the daily moisturizer for my twist outs...I used it for a wash n go and on the second day it was frizzy.

I know that TGIN has a twist and define cream. I used it and it was good. It leaves a sticky residue on your hands while you use it but not on your hair. I used everything in the line except for the gel and I loved everything. The shampoo was my favorite. I think it was the most moisturizing shampoo I've ever used. The buttercream I hated because as you said it doesn't have hold. I also didn't like it because I think on the container it said you can use it with the leave in conditioner for a twist out. It was so frizzy even though my hair was incredibly soft. Sorry for the ultra long comment.

I love the TGIN line, from the shampoo to the leave in. I decided to switch to this brand in September 2016 because it's protein free.I can really see a difference in my hair now, I even started to do wash and goes with my type 4 hair. However I am not a big fan of the gel. I've only tried to use it twice but washed it out while style in the shower. It makes my hair dry and frizzy. Apparently it has proteins, maybe that's why. I like the butter cream but only on old dry hair. I'm trying the twist and define cream right now, so I will see. Your hair looks good.

I think you might like their green tea leave in better than that moisturizer. My co worker told me about the leave in and I caught it on sale and only got one bottle :( When I tell you that stuff is amazing...girl! I used it under my gel for a wash and go and it was everything! Its not a thick consistency (which made me side eye it lol ) but its very moisturizing and it defined my curls!

I tried both of these products twice and it's a no go for me! I decided to revisit them and it still didn't work for me. My hair was also frizzy the next day and I had no hold. I prefer hold and crunch. I also tried pairing the gel with TGIN leave in.

The TGIN Twist & Define Cream is what will define and hold the curls without frizz. It’s almost as strong of a hold as EcoStyler Gel

Try the ORS butter creme styling smoothie. It's thick, creamy, smells like paradise and defines my curls so well by itself & even better on wet hair. I paid $11.95 for the 12oz jar at my local beauty supply store but you can probably find it cheaper elsewhere.

I just purchased this same combo but my daily moisturizer is not as thick as the one you have. Mine is more runny. I hope to God that doesn't mean anything bad and it works with my hair.

You should try Creme of Nature's new line. Very affordable and there's a styling cream with hold and gel. Just be careful with how much you use.

When I say I love this stuff I lovvvveeeee it! The butter alone works magic. I haven't tried it with the gel. I prefer a crunch with my curls. You hit everything on point. Define curls, shine, lots of moisture, soooo soooo soft. Try to buy this with coupons I saved so much at C.V.S 40% with an additional 3.00 off. I will continue to buy this product it the best for me thus far on the first try compared to others that I had to work with .

Sharon do you have fine or thick hair? Low porosity or high porosity. I ask because I'm curious about the gel, but I'm skeptical if it will work on my hair type. I have fine, low porosity hair.

I bought da Buttercream moisturizer last yr on black friday for $9! Looooove it!! Im at a half jar. A lil goez a long way. But yea i agree.. $14 is way too much. However, i do love dat itz 12 oz and not 8 oz. Datz when companiez really get over. I stall em out for yearz before tryin and buyin. Waitin on pricez to go down or gud salez 😂😂.. I found many great dealz at my local Kroger grocery store. Some high end productz dat came out n 2013 at like $14-20, r now $6-8 lolz.
