The Peril of Parties

Fr, I've been looking around at different Churches trying to find a place to take root, if that makes sense. I still need to attend a ''big'' Church, and a "non-denominational", and probably a Latin Mass, based on what my mom and I agreed on. I really think Orthodoxy is the right choice, I just don't know a lot about the Divine Liturgy, or what I should do, or if visitors need to call in advance. Do you have any advice? I'd love to visit Sts RNI, and hopefully call it home :)

Father, please forgive me. I woke up Thursday morning to discover that the DNC convention in Chicago has an abortion clinic set up inside the convention grounds offering free abortions and induced pharmaceutical miscarriages. At least 25 abortions have taken place during the DNC convention at the convention site sponsored by Planned Parenthood. I just can't stay neutral. Please pray for me and those innocent lives lost.

I completely understand. Please understand my words. I am not and can't advocate for neutrality here. But The Faith invites me to a sober peace even in the face of abject evil. In standing against evil, don't lose the ability to love those captured by evil.
