You should get a jersey, an autographed team photo, a discount on popcorn and soda, and a bag of some hoodies & T-shirts. I guess if i want to go to my first jets game one day at metlife i'm going to need to save up some serious dough

Most seasons they usually add a few bucks in jets cash which amounts to probably 2 beers and a hot dog per seat lol but yeah, the package they send out is just ridiculous at this point.

Your show does a perfect job of being hopefully and optimistic, while also being realistic and not letting the team dupe us.

Appreciate that John. I still remember when I first hopped on here in 2015 and I was that guy who despised any takes that talked negative about the team. I felt we always got enough heat from the media, so as fans I thought it was always good to stay supportive. While still being supportive, I fully understand now some of the rants and fans who need to let that frustration out lol

But I agree with you. I re-upped into my second year as a season ticket holder (section 117), even tho they asked for the money early. Not too expensive tho, considering it’s on the 4 yard line, 14 rows back. But I only have one seat however so it’s kinda lonely sometimes.

Like I’m a lions fan. After we went to the nfc championship, they severely jacked up prices. Yet in April, they announced that there was a 97% renewal rate and over 20k on the waitlist. You win and they will come. I’m talking a 50% increase in prices.

My tickets have basically doubled in 4 yrs with no winning. There was a time in the old stadium that the Jets had a 20k wait list as well. I know because my family was on it. My dad always got our seats through his company but we didn't have them in our name until the last year in Giants stadium when many people dropped out after the PSL announcement. There was such a demand for tickets and they killed it

@@LetsTalkJetsRadio well I hate the PSL thing for everyone that’s doing it. Bills fans are PISSED cuz their new stadium is going to be PSLS. It’s absolutely awful that the jets are raising tickets after losing seasons. Paying early is crazy too.

No way! I loved that section so much. Same faces every single week. There was a big dude 2 or 3 rows behind me who always shouted the funniest shit that you could probably hear from the first row lol. Great times ✈️🍻

The sad thing is with revenue sharing the salary cap is already paid by the league. NFL owners basically profit ticket revenue. That package is embarrassing. Pony up Woody!

Its hysterical I was a season ticket holder from 1978 to 2010 I remember getting the yearbook and they a few times sent us hats with our section and seat numbers etched on the side of the cap like we were idiots and didn't know where our seats were I gave up my seats when I was being told that the psl for my 4 seats were 10 grand a seat they were generous to offer a payment plan and sent me a pop up of the new stadium with my seats marked in the pop up Glad I never gave in

You made the right call...I remember the packages usually had something unique. The hats I remember, I think one year I got a nice STH engraved spatula. I don't ask a lot to avoid to making these videos haha

They don’t deserve us as fans. The product they put out on the field is now worth the price of these tickets. You should really cancel your season ticket if they end up flopping again this season. Only way to tell the organization that we are unhappy is to make their sales hurt

That time is likely coming soon. I wanted to be there for as many Rodgers games as possible. The price of tickets on the secondary market most years by October/November is sickening compared to what we pay upfront

There is no reason The Jets have such great fans Think of it, Super Bowl 3 was a fixed game and that was 50 years ago. It all depends on what the team does. If the team sucks that means being a season ticket holder sucks, if the team is good then being a season ticket holder is awesome.

Not totally true. The team was bad for many years in the 90s and going to games was a blast. Maybe as a kid it's different but the environment I remember was also different. The new stadium and PSLs killed that and they still have not done anything to rectify that mistake to those that stayed, and those they pushed away

lol not suprised, when I was a season ticket holder they used to do the rewards thing where if u got in the stadium at a certain time you’d earn a certain amount of points and then they had a reward store where you could purchase autographed mini helmets etc. and stuff like that. Do they still do that?

They still have the rewards program but even when I was there for every game and in my seat early, I rarely had enough points for any of the really good stuff. I think that was when they also had the passcodes for those who watched the SNY programing and other things that I never did. I wish they brought back the points for opposing offense false starts and delay of games 😂

@@LetsTalkJetsRadio 100% the in game points for crowd noise and false starts was a amazing idea and we had 4 tickets row 18 section 134. So we had a ton of points and I got like a ton of mini helmets sign by Brandon Marshall, Revis, and a ton of other legends. That was the best thing they did and also way before that remember they’d give out the scratch offs for the bobble heads at PC Richard and son after the game….. miss those days

FUN FACT- The Jets have always been a clownshow. Super Bowl 3 was the most obviously fixed football game in NFL history....and that was 50 years ago. The Jets have done absolutely nothing aside from embarrass themselves since. The Jets do not deserve their amazing fanbase.

Superbowl 3 wasn't fixed, the Jets were the better team. Everyone thought the colts defense was lights out but it was bc they blitzed,which no NFL team at the time did but the AFL had used it for years so jets could handle it. The 68 team was incredibly gifted, they had two great running backs, a hof wr, a great offensive line and a defense that was truly lights out. The Jets defense made a monkey out of the colts offense and their defense let the Jets run the ball over them.

What section? Mine come out to a little over 100 per game but I noticed some tickets have face value well over 100 (opener, dolphins) and others at 60. Pretty sure it was like that last yr too. I think newer STHs last yr got higher prices as well

Also, the utter contempt the organization has for fans is something else. The Johnsons are multi billionaires, in theory, they know how to run a business. Yet they don't even do that well! Why cut costs on something like rewards for a season ticket holder? People like you, PT, give them thousands of dollars yearly. The better seats must make them millions. Yet they can't bother to, like you said, just throw in some merchandise? Give actual, tangible rewards to people, if only to make them not feel bad about renewing the tickets?
