The chemistry. Oh. My. God. The fkng chemistry. I was literally smiling ear to ear throughout the show. No cap. Also watching it dubbed in english was equally good because the actors themselves dubbed it. The way Wilhelm and Simon look into each others eyes. I cannot. I cannot. I've been havi g recurrent dreams about them ever since. I'll say it again. Simon's lips and wilhems eyes deserve a literal spinoff of their own.

One thing people doesn’t seem to get about Omar is that he was famous before young royals. Like he got famous more than 8 years ago, and was in Sweden’s biggest boy band so he’s been famous since a very young age, and after that he’s been a solo artist. Omar is so real, so vulnerable, so modest, so absolutely himself with a molecule of pretension. That absolutely emotionally openness is impressive beyond words to see this guy take on the complex role and cary it off without a hitch. Th act love scenes, incredible intimacy with a guy you just met at casting, to let himself embrace the role as if he is the character. Casting Omar in that role was brilliant. Omar is the character: earthy, honest to a fault, proud of his heritage and at ease in his skin, particularly as his first acting role, in front of cameras, cast, director, the make-up people, on and on, and he remains so simply honest missing a guy on set, struggling with his own personal feelings towards Edwin, and yet acting the role as himself. Bravo, bravo.
