The Perpetual War: The Israeli Wager on Time with Abdaljawad Omar

Abdaljawad Omar will return to MAKC for our 12th conversation on the genocidal war being waged on the Palestinian masses, an unjust and inhumane response to the Palestinian resistance's operation Al-Aqsa Flood. The result has been as Omar cautioned us early on, a battle of wills, a battle of endurance, and a war that may take much longer than any of us initially could have imagined. We will talk to Omar about his latest analysis of the situation in Palestine.

Nobody ,or few, were talking about Palestine before october 7, so many are learning about this colonial project, young people around the world. So I think evil won't win. Sooner than later . Thanks for this very interesting conversation. Abdaljawad has a knowledge beyond most. He doesn’t just repeat what we will hear but goes deep back in history and beyond the often very surface analysis of the Palestine situation and put a historical context to it. In addition to, co-existing with, or instead of the sublime providing an out of body experience, as relates to awe, perhaps consider ecstasy (ecstatic), especially when joining others in union/camaraderie. Perhaps also in relation to “godlessness” as it relates to a lack of accountability to something, and a “religious” experience.
