I love these old musical shows because you get to hear Perry Como perform songs, like I Can Dream, Can't I, that you have never heard him perform before. I did commercially record Dreamer's Holiday in 1949 at the same time as Buddy Clark recorded it. Both versions were hits.

This was the season Perry appeared on Sunday nights at 8pm(et)- opposite Ed Sullivan's "TOAST OF THE TOWN" on CBS- and also did an NBC radio edition of the "SUPPER CLUB" on Thursdays at 10pm(et) [Liggett & Myers had enough of an advertising budget so that Perry could appear on both mediums].
