He is a Canadian, born in Ottawa in 1938 and of course Canada is very proud of him. He had a good early career in Canada but eventully moved to the States but only became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 2010. He was appointed to the Order of Canada in 2022.

​@@wph8309 Just by imitating the way past presidents spoke like Reagan and Nixon and Carter and others Rich Little did make fun of them but it was not tasteless or making fun of any alleged health issues and here I agee that he went too far re. cruelly over-exaggerating the supposed infirmities of Biden but without saying one word about the overweight Trump and his stumbling over big words and spouting nonsense like suggesting injecting bleach to cure or protect yourself from Covid 19 or suggesting to the military that they consider nuking hurricanes and saying that the American Continental Army "took over the airports" from the British during the American Revolutionary War (in 1775)! SMH. At least Biden works out while Trump does not "believe" (!) in exercise which shows given his shape vs. the trim slim Biden. Trump's only exercise is throwing ketchup against walls and cheating at golf while riding around on golf carts. Rich Little must be an ardent GOPer and that was OK in the old days but given the weird far-right Trumpian version of the GOP that currently exists, my former respect for Litttle has gone way down.

I was born in 1984 and I just turned 39. I'm so grateful to grow up and see this man on tv thru the years. What a legend and a true Gem Rich is. Once upon a time, there was a place in Las Vegas called Fellini's. The chef was a really good guy named Chaz. Bob Harry seemed to run the place. My wife and some friends and I would go to Fellini's for New Years. Rich Little and his group had the table right next to ours. It was fun, watching them have fun.
