Calvary is the only answer for humanity. Christ took my sin and has declared me forgiven. Love the Perrys. Have always appreciated their conviction of singing songs about the Cross. So glad my Dad showed me from the Bible how I could know Christ as Savior. Thanks Dad. Thank you Jesus for enduring the cross and for coming out of that grave! Look up..He’s comin!!

Best of the Perrys lineups. Curt fit the baritone part perfectly when it went to three male vocalist, and Loren is a vocal monster.

I like gospel music, but I wonder, "Is gospel music wishful thinking how one thinks they should be, or is this the way one does live in Christ--the one doing the singing? I know the psalmists lived this way once they truly saw their sin, such as David. David wrote all his psalms after murdering and committing adultery." David was one cold dude: it took a specially sent prophet to awaken him, and then only when he had compassion on a stolen lamb! And he murdering a man to get his wife. Thus the power of the blindness of sin.

We, as Spirit-Filled, Born-Again Believers, have the Holy Spirit within us...convicting us of our sin, so that we may immediately confess & repent of it, restoring our relationship with The Father. We are no longer condemned, but set free in Him, through the power of His blood.

Joseph Flame , is not the power the gospel itself? Roman's 1:16 says .." I am not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ , for IT is the power of God unto salvation..."
@lawyers96 жыл бұрын
Joseph Flame When I sing at church this is how I try to live. I often fail, but Jesus is there to help and heal and forgive us. We can never be perfect while here on earth, but he is our advocate to the Father. Thru Him, on the cross, we are saved!
