I’m not saying it’s right, but you have to recognize the difference between like jered leto’s friends standing around while he “entertains” minors and a situation where a higher ranking member of a criminal syndicate abusing people in front of lower ranking members or non-associates of a known criminal syndicate. No one in a room with puff doesn’t know his status, his protectors, and what they do to people who speak out. Why do you think when people DID speak out(which a lot did) they said things so gingerly and carefully? Cause if you implicate the known names above puff that those men WILL kill you. It’s maybe still depressing that that sort of dynamic among criminals and their associates exists, but it shouldn’t be depressing cause it’s men actively or passively purposefully endorsing rape culture… cause that’s NOT what’s happened here

It's wild how people, like Usher, apparently see no issue with experiencing wild fucked up things at age 13, but ask them if they'd let their children be in the same situations, it's always a firm and immediate No. Well, then it wasn't actually okay when it was you, was it?
@tapirsareunder-appreciated22722 ай бұрын
Speaking as someone who went through something WAY less intense than this (groomed online at age 12-15), there's often a disconnect. It takes a lot of processing and unpacking to recognize your child-self as a *child* first and *yourself* second. It gives more sense of control and safety to look at those memories and imagine "me as I am now, but smaller," or sometimes imagining an entirely different person altogether. It takes some of the vulnerability and helplessness out of it. Once real kids that you know are brought into the picture, you can't ignore the age aspect. Of course, having that mindset also means that the trauma is still there, but it's buried and more unpredictable with when it will pop up.
@levelintent2 ай бұрын
Exactly. Just like how these rappers promote whoredom to young girls but when you ask them if they would want their daughters to become rappers or live the lives they promote in their music, it's an immediate NO with some of them not even allowing their children to listen to their music.

What screws me up is Diddy offering up his mother's assets for his bond instead of just his own. I get that he bought his mother that stuff but I'm gonna assume this woman actually lives in her mansion ?? so like... that's so rude to me and actually made him seem infinitely more guilty to me, as if he wasn't already guilty enough.

He must have had some powerful and influential ‘friends’ around him to avoid being jailed for so long. I hope those enablers are brought to justice too. This is horrendous and will stay with his victims for the rest of their lives.
