Hello Arno, I saw your question on another channel. Anyway, in answer to your question, sadly you're request has come a little too late as Dad passed away shortly after being told he had cancer at the end of September this year, 2017. I'm sure he would have been very flattered and pleased to hear that a fan wanted his autograph after all these years. Thanks for asking.

I dont think Pete Best took lead vocals in this group, in fact i cant find any recordings anywhere of Pete singing it just dont exist. If I am wrong please let me know.

@@MarcoZucchi81 that is some pretty hot precise drumming and Pete was not really capable of that sort of thing. I've read many accounts that said they hired session drummers from time to time during the United States Pete Best combo sessions.

He was actually quite good on the kit by 1965 (obviously working his arse off 24/7 to prove the other Beatles wrong). But the 1961-1962 Pete Best was an average and uninspired drummer.

@@pascalecnto68 really? Any record? I've heard he and his band recording "Some Other Guy". It's disasterous. Even nowadays when his touring he mostly only play the basic beat and need a 2nd drummer to keep the tempo and do the filling.

@@ikhsansube82 I think you've misinterpreted what i meant. Pete clearly knuckled down and practised his arse off after getting shafted in '62. Hence you can hear the improvement in '64-65. His recent playing is bog average again, possibly due to not drumming for a couple of decades. In any event, Ringo was clearly the better pick for the group.
