Fun fact; one of the running theories as to where the idea of unicorns comes from is rhino skulls, since rhinos are close relatives of horses and have a similar looking skull, and their horn probably sparked that idea, so a horse with a horn ALMOST exists.

The whole "you see something in a tape and then you die" trope has been done perfectly so many times that it really shouldn't be tried again. Especially because most Ring clones are just "Mary was watching a tape, and then a spooky face showed up that shouldn't be there. She then immediately had a heart attack and spontaneously combusted and blew up the whole neighborhood."

2:36 well that would have to do more probably with how narwhal horn is just a weird tooth, and land mammals that have horns evolved to have two, because one ice pick sticking from the forehead would get more in the way. I mean, look at rhinos, they have one (relatively) small horn coming from the nose. Then look at antlers, they're usually (emphasis on usually, rules of nature are more like general suggestions) up and away.

Honestly, I genuinely feel like unicorns did exist, but they probably went into extinction sometime during the middle ages because they kept getting constantly hunted down for their horns and magic. Like, deers can have horns, narwhals can have them, why can't a literal horse have a horn? If I explained to a person that there's a creature that's neck is 40 feet tall, walk on all fours, has bug looking horns, a black tongue, it's fur is yellow and it has spots on it and they've never seen a giraffe in their life, they might think I'm describing a made up Dr. Seuss Character😭 If you describe a unicorn to someone, it's just a beautiful house- like- creature, with opal colored skin/fur, hair white as snow, and a single horn that spirals up to a point on the creature's forehead, and depending if your talking about Irish mythology, the unicorn would also have a tail as fierce as a lions. What my point is that a unicorn sounds like a creature that's more likely to exist in the wild than a giraffe. Even in Irish legends, some unicorns was kept as pets by the royals and the wild unicorns were hunted down by humans to gain magic, immortality or some type of power from their horns, tail, or their opal colored mains. The lion and the unicorn is the United kingdom's national animals for christ sake(Between Britain and Scotland) So if the unicorn was so important to become a national animal for a country and had multiple documented cases of being domesticated by the Scottish royals, it's safe to say that the unicorns at one point in time, most likely existed. Let's remember these beautiful creatures and let them live on in our memories ✨🌈🔮🦄💐🌸🌷
