It’s funny how many people don’t know the backstory of why Mayweather and 50 have beef. Long story short: Mayweather created TMT “the money team” branding. When Floyd got locked up for 30 days 50 cent went and tried to trademark TMT and started a whole boxing promotion company without Floyd’s permission or knowledge. Floyd was 100% in the right and 50 was being shady. So many people hated Floyd over the pacquiao rivalry, they didn’t care about the details and just jumped on board with everything 50 said to bash Floyd. All the while forgetting 50 has always been a snake and a hater. Not to mention 50 cents stint as a boxing promoter went about as bad as one could go.
