Lol. You are SUCH a hypocrite tho. You telling me you don't watch TV? Never watched a movie? Listened to a song? You live in the woods with no electricity and have nobody you like in any media whatsoever? I doubt that. Heavily. So at the end of the day you are happy enough to consume what these celebrities you hate so much produce, right? You'd be miserable if Hollywood fell into the sea tomorrow. Fact. You wanna live with no music or entertainment? Or you wanna just execute anyone who becomes too famous for it? What's your ideal world here? Cos it just seems like idle jealously to me. They're rich and famous, I'm not, so I'm salty. That's a sad point of view to see the world through

Scorsese reaction is the blueprint of how you take a joke: embrace it, roll with it, and get a laugh out of your reaction, as a comeback.

watching Martin Scorsese, Adam Driver and Leo DiCaprio laugh at their own expense was refreshing watching Tom Hanks squirm was even better

You can tell the ego of the people by watching their reactions. Some clearly take themselves way to seriously. I mean, these are professional make believers. Why do we even care about them...

Especially Tom Hanks. Whoa! He was not comfortable at all.

@@Memory_visit Yeah, it was pretty evident that he was VERY uncomfortable. One can only wonder why.

I have watched this SO many times since the night of the awards and it never gets old. Ricky Gervais is my absolute hero.

what I personally like the most about this roast is that everything he sais he said it to their faces and it was all about their personal decisions, nothing about their bodies or something they have not control over (unlike the now infamous G.I. joke for example)like the apple part he said it with the tim apple guy right in front of him

Not entirely true. The Joe Pesci "joke" was mean.
@CosmicIsStonedАй бұрын
@gerardodelgadoramirez458 I severely doubt it bothered Pesci. The dude has most likely heard far worse insults from far better men.

I do keep going back again. I wonder who followed Ricky up. He made some classic comment about Chris Rock and Will Smith. Maybe not at Golden Globes.
