Tony( Dave O’Brien) a theatre critic teams up with a cop lieutenant Walsh to investigate the murder of a broadway actor! When two more murders occur, he wonders if the killings are connected-and he’s right! A motive for revenge against an actor ( Alan mowbray) for something that happened before-Tony stages a trap for the killer-and it succeeds! It all works out in the end of the flick! Dave O’Brien and Kay Aldridge worked together in the man who walked along-and they did this one ,too! 👍👍👍👍😎💥😻🤩🚀❤️

Cute how the script has Frank Jenks introduce Dave O'Brien to us with all the subtlety of a jackhammer. I always enjoy O'brien (and Jenks!) and believe he was sorely under-used as a leading man. Forgpt to mention~ when reading the credits, my eye saw "Eddie-the- Elliot" instead of "Edith Elliot" : )

Dave and Kay were good in "man who walks alone" they were a good team. Alan MOBRAY a good VERSITILE actor. CHANGE THE 'GOODs' to GREAT.

I can understand this English and the English currently spoken in England. It is Impossible to understand movies from the 90'"s and 2000's.

It might be because here is recorded sound, dictated separatedly above the film, it could be even not the voices of filmed actors. In 90s and else sound had been 'alive and real' as I know, and not all actors have good diction)

Modern movie dialogue is completely unintelligible. But the car chases,explosions and the curse words come through loud and clear😉
